env interfaces with the National Weather Service and uses the weather forecast to modify decisions in the system like an outdoor reset schedule computation.


Virtual Control Devices

All hardware control devices that have been used traditionally to manage systems in the mechanical room can be eliminated. env uses a software implementation of a control device that can be modified via a web browser and updated by CAS via new software releases.

Heartbeat

A heartbeat in the PC server communicates with Climate Automation System's web server on a periodic basis. IF a heartbeat is skipped, CAS notifies the service organization or customer via a text message or email.

One Click Macros

env users can define macros that are a set of instructions that can cause one or more actions to occur. For example, set all zones back to 68 degrees and turn off the domestic hot water. They can be manually executed via a browser or they can be assigned to a timer in which case they will be executed automatically.
