Conditional Procedures and Alerts

env users can define conditional procedures consisting of simple or complex formulas and Boolean expressions (AND/OR) using fields in the database. If the expression is true, automatic alerts, text or email messages, can be sent to the user or service organization and, at the same time, a macro can be executed. These can be used to monitor freeze conditions or check the status of a heat pump. This capability is an extremely effective way to preemptively head off problem conditions.

Monitoring

env users can define monitors that consist of one or more fields in the database. The fields can be sampled on any interval and retained for any number of days in the SQL Server database. This data can be viewed in graphical format or uploaded to an Excel spreadsheet via a web browser.

This feature is extremely useful to a service organization since it allows them to verify that a new installation is performing correctly and to remotely diagnose a problem from the comfort of their office without having to initially dispatch service personnel to determine the problem.
